Pandemic Week 9: Could you use some mothering?

Whether you are a mother or are spending time with your mother today — either in person, on video, or in memories — I hope you will find some peace and comfort on this Mother’s Day.

I think we could all use some “mothering” right now, so do what you can to be gentle and take good care of yourself.

Here’s a body scan meditation that may help.

I’ve been privileged to have worked with an expectant mother the last few weeks before the pandemic hit. It’s always a powerful session when working with mother and baby. I’m looking forward to meeting the newborn as soon as it is safe to do so.

I still don’t know when I’ll be allowed to be back to doing hands-on work.

In addition to following all the CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing, I’d like to hear your ideas for how you’d like to work together in the new reality.

I’ll be diffusing more germ-killing oils in the space and offering oils for your hands, as well as, hand sanitizer. We’ll most likely need to wear masks and I will use gloves.

What can I do to make you more comfortable when it’s time to come back to the office?

I look forward to being able to work with you again soon. As always, please let me know if I may be of service in any way.

Blessings,
Mary
