Pandemic Week 3: Tuning Into You and Our Recovery

How are you doing? As we enter week three of flattening the curve, early reports indicate California’s stay at home order is working. Please keep doing what you’re doing and stay home. Still, none of use has been through anything like this before and every day seems to bring new emotions. It’s important that we stay connected.

And then something odd happened to me this weekend. I started to feel positive. Positive about how our resilience will support us after all this is over.
Maybe that’s because one of my clients gave birth on Saturday and new babies are always a reason to feel good. Or maybe because after a week on being on hold trying to explain to my creditors I don’t have any income right now (and not getting through) I decided to LET GO of all that worry about not being able to pay my bills.

So, if you could use some support letting go or if you need to chat or connect, please feel free to text or email. We are all in this together.

If you’re also experiencing financial challenges, this week, I’m offering a Pay What You Can option for phone sessions when you pay by Venmo or Zelle.

Just like in person, the session is tailored to what you need. We do some guided meditation, distance craniosacral work, Reiki, intuitive dialoguing and sound healing with tuning forks. You can book your remote session via the online calendar.  Put “pay what you can” in the comment section and we’ll figure out the details later.

AND you can also purchase gift certificates and packages for when all of this is over.

My phone sessions incorporate the tuning forks I use with you in person. I got a lovely email this week from my teacher/mentor, John Beaulieu, who created the tuning forks I use.

Here are some of his good words:

“We are in unprecedented times and everyone around the world, whether they know it or not, is in a state of shock. My concern is the relationship between our mental health and physical health. It is very important to adapt and change to a very different way of living. When we fail to adapt our physiology enters into a distressed state. When we adapt our physiology enters into a coherent state. I like to say “we are tuned”. In this state, our immune system is enhanced and our ability to self regulate is increased. In other words, we are much stronger mentally and physically.

The sound of the tuning forks instantly creates a neural coherent state and also helps you be more aware and automatically self-regulate from a state of anxiety to a state of being more coherent and better able to reality test.

When used correctly the tuning forks will enhance your immune system via a nitric oxide signaling response (known as the relaxation response) which is proven to enhance the immune system and create a physiology that is anti-viral.”

He’s also sent a free tuning fork meditation that you can listen to yourself.

We are all doing the best we can during this unusual time. If there is anything I can do to support you, please reach out. Hang in there!

Blessings,
Mary
